Kick-off meeting of iCare Project
From 27th to 28th of May, iCARE project partners from South Korea and Spain were welcomed at the Technological Park of Bilbao, Spain in order to reflect on current and future developments of the project and to get to know each other face to face.
This kick off meeting was scheduled to discuss initial steps and rising issues of project implementation and to synchronize the different tasks to take the project forward during the next months.
After this first day, the gathering concluded with an interactive discussion encouraging all participants to have a lively exchange of thoughts and suggestions on how to improve project results regarding user experience and safe use of technology.
On the next day, our Korean partners have the chance to pay a visit to the premises of the different Spanish partners taking part in the project. Thus, Tecnalia gave a as walk through the different Labs and offices that make up the Tecnalia Health unit, Gogoa showcased the different exoskeletos designed and produced at their headquarters in Abadiño (Bizkaia – Spain) and IHS made a touring to the different electronic products developed over past years.
Finally, also worth to mention that our Korean partners had the chance to briefly know more about the Basque / Spanish culture by having dinner together at a typical “Sidreria” restaurant were typical Basque dishes poured with cyder were tasted.
Next project meeting in the frame of the iCARE project will take place in South Korea in the coming months.
